You’ll work with an enthusiastic group of 2nd and 3rd graders—all based in one building—managing a caseload of approximately 40 students. Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC credential
- Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License)
- Previous school-based SLP experience (preferred)
- Knowledge and comfort with AAC devices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting elementary-age learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and therapy for students on the caseload
- Develop and implement IEP goals based on student needs
- Integrate AAC device strategies as appropriate
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and required reporting
- Engage in professional communication and uphold ethical standards
