We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused, and technology-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships with prospective residents, and is eager to utilize modern technology to streamline the leasing process. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through move-in, including responding to prospective resident inquiries, conducting property tours, and facilitating the application process.
- Process rental applications, verify required documentation, prepare lease agreements, and ensure compliance with company policies and Fair Housing standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by building strong relationships with prospective and current residents and serving as a primary point of contact throughout the leasing experience.
- Utilize property management software, CRM systems, and technology tools to manage leads, maintain accurate records, and track leasing activity.
- Coordinate move-in schedules and communicate with maintenance and construction teams to ensure homes are ready for occupancy.
- Maintain current online listings and assist with marketing efforts to maximize property visibility and occupancy.
- Monitor local market trends to support competitive pricing and leasing strategies.
- Perform general administrative duties and provide support to the property management team as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in leasing, property management, real estate, sales, or a customer-facing role preferred.
- Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient with computers and comfortable learning new software, property management systems, CRM platforms, and AI-enabled tools.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Professional demeanor with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using property management or CRM software.
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing best practices.
- Sales, marketing, or negotiation experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace new technology and process improvements.
