Melody Music Co-op is hiring a piano teacher to work with our youngest students, ages 4–8. This role is ideal for someone who's a strong pianist and genuinely enjoys working with young kids — technical mastery isn't the main bar here, connection with children is.
What we're looking for:
- Solid piano fundamentals — you don't need to be a concert-level player, but you should be comfortable and confident with the instrument
- Real experience or aptitude working with young children — patience, warmth, and the ability to keep lessons engaging
- Reliable transportation for in-home lessons
What you'll get:
- $30–40 per 30-minute lesson ($60–80/hour equivalent), based on experience
- Training and support to help you grow as a teacher, including help building lesson plans for young beginners
