Position Summary
Schmalz Acres is now hiring for our Fall 2026 season!
As a Weekend Experience Associate, you'll help create unforgettable family memories during our fall attractions, including the corn maze, pumpkin patch, sunflower fields, hayrides, farm games, concessions, and special events.
This position is ideal for students, teachers, retirees, and anyone looking for fun weekend work. Team members are hired during Summer 2026 and work primarily weekends throughout September & October 2026 operating season.
No two days are the same, and team members are cross-trained in multiple areas to keep work exciting, engaging, and rewarding.
What You'll Do

Welcome and assist guests with a friendly, positive attitude

Help operate a wide variety of fun attractions, activities, and guest experience areas

Assist with hayrides, corn maze operations, pumpkin patch, apple picking, orchard experiences, and seasonal events

Support admissions, concessions, retail, and guest service areas

Maintain clean, safe, and inviting spaces for guests

Answer questions and help guests make the most of their visit

Assist with event setup, cleanup, teardown, and other seasonal projects

Work as part of a team to create a fun and memorable experience for every guest
What We're Looking For

Must be at least 14 years of age

Friendly, enthusiastic, and dependable individuals

Enjoy working with people of all ages

Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills

Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Willingness to learn and assist in multiple areas

Customer service experience is helpful but not required
