JOB TITLE: Inventory Control
REPORTS TO: Plant Manager
JOB SUMMARY: The Inventory Control position is responsible for monitoring inventory levels for the organization through reconciliation and reporting. Individual will also work in the Warehouse to help support production-related efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Conduct audits and track bar and plate inventory
· Handle various purchasing-related tasks, as needed
· Support ISO Requirements for the organization and provide information as it relates to inventory
· Oversee and handle quality issue resolution
· Conduct conversions from plate to bar
· Work in Warehouse setting to help support production (i.e., cutting, material handling, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Ability to reconcile counts and report data accurately
· Database management skills
EDUCATION:
· High school diploma required
· Minimum of three (3) years of experience in similar position
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
· High level of attention to detail and accuracy
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
· Ability to work independently
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
FLSA STATUS:
· Non-Exempt
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
