Cable Assembler/Solder Technician

We provide FLEX Hours! We Alternate every other Friday off to encourage a better life balance. This position requires candidate to live or relocate to the Treasure Coast of Florida.
The primary responsibility of the Cable Assembly Operator is to solder contact pins onto the conductors of coaxial cable. To do this effectively, they will need to fulfill the responsibilities outlined below as well as additional tasks that may be assigned by their supervisor.
Requirements
Musts
- Exceptional hand-eye coordination and dexterity
- Experience with precision soldering under a microscope
- Ability to work with extremely small components and fine-pitch soldering
- Hig proficiency in using soldering tweezers
- Proficient in hot air solder stations, and other micro-soldering tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Knowledge of IPC soldering standards (such as IPC-610 or IPC-620)
- Steady hands and patience for delicate work
- Basic troubleshooting and repair skills for microelectronic assemblies
- Ability to work in a cleanroom or ESD-safe environment
- Strong work ethic and ability to meet production deadlines
- Ability to lift boxes
Physical Demands
This position involves regular physical activity in a manufacturing/assembly environment. The employee must be able to:
- Lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 40 lbs on an as-needed basis throughout the shift.
- Carry items up and down stairs as required (where applicable to the work area).
- Stand for up to 4 hours at a time while performing assembly and related tasks.
- Sit for up to 4 hours at a time while performing assembly, inspection, documentation, or related tasks.
- Perform repetitive hand/arm motions and fine motor tasks consistent with precision assembly work.

Responsibilities
Setup, run, and breakdown cable assembly jobs
Obtain correct tooling and equipment for job
Solder contact pins onto the conductors of coaxial cable while performing in-process inspections to ensure quality of product
Return all tooling and equipment in good working condition to appropriate storage location
Perform basic troubleshooting per work instructions
Physical Demands Activity / Movement Level:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle and feel; reach with hands and arms; and sit/stand or walk for 8 hours per day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and color vision.
