Responsibilities
- Provide expert hair styling, cutting, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Use advanced techniques such as hair extensions, threading, and straight razor shaves to enhance client looks.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.
- Utilize salon management software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, track client preferences, and manage retail sales efficiently.
- Offer personalized hair care advice, recommend suitable products, and upsell retail items to enhance client results.
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their needs and ensure a satisfying experience from consultation to completion.
- Stay current on industry trends, color theory, new styling techniques, and product innovations to provide fresh ideas and services.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry.
- Proficiency in salon software such as MINDBODY or similar management tools.
- Strong knowledge of hair care products, hair coloring techniques, and sanitation protocols.
- Skilled in hair styling, cutting, coloring, hair extensions, threading, and straight razor techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and provide outstanding customer service.
- Experience with store management tasks including retail sales, upselling, retail math calculations, and client communication.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
