Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Skilled Construction Laborers. In this role, you will be an integral part of our construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of job sites by cleaning and clearing debris.
- Load and unload materials and equipment as needed.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Help with the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding, structures, and temporary installations.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, digging, and carrying materials.
- Support various construction activities as directed by project leads.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on job sites.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced workers.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
