NOW HIRING: Assistant Kennel Manager & Content Creator
Part-Time | 2–3 Days Per Week
We are looking for a dependable, creative, animal-loving person to join our team as an Assistant Kennel Manager & Content Creator.
We are an established, top-notch dog breeding program approaching 10 years in business. We take tremendous pride in our dogs and puppies and have a beautiful, professionally maintained puppy nursery and farm that is also home to chickens and bunnies.
CONTENT CREATION — A MAJOR PART OF THIS POSITION
We are specifically looking for someone who is creative, social-media savvy, and genuinely enjoys creating content.
You will be responsible for helping capture and share the day-to-day life of our puppies, dogs, nursery, and farm.
Content responsibilities include:
- Taking photos and videos of our puppies
- Creating fun, engaging Reels, Stories, posts, and short-form videos
- Coming up with creative content ideas
- Creating puppy announcements and available-puppy content
- Capturing puppy milestones, personalities, playtime, and behind-the-scenes moments
- Creating content featuring our nursery, dogs, chickens, bunnies, and farm
- Helping keep our social media active, professional, fun, and consistent
- Handling all marketing and advertising
We want someone who sees an adorable or funny moment happening and immediately thinks, “I need to get that on video!”
ASSISTANT KENNEL MANAGER / FARM CARE
This is also a hands-on animal-care position. Responsibilities include:
- Feeding and providing fresh water to puppies, dogs, chickens, and bunnies
- Cleaning and maintaining our beautiful puppy nursery
- Cleaning puppy areas and farm animal areas
- Administering medications as directed
- Helping schedule and/or transport puppies to veterinary appointments
- Monitoring puppies and animals for changes in health or behavior
- Keeping animal supplies stocked and organized
- Helping ensure our nursery and farm stay extremely clean, sanitary, organized, and well maintained
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We need someone who is:
- Creative and confident creating social media content
- Comfortable taking photos and videos
- Dependable and trustworthy
- Extremely organized
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Comfortable handling puppies and other animals
- Not afraid to get dirty or clean up after animals
- Able to recognize when something needs to be done without always being asked
- Reliable with dependable transportation
Previous content creation, social media, photography, videography, kennel, veterinary, breeding, or animal-care experience is a huge plus.
This is a unique position for someone who loves animals AND loves creating content. You may spend part of your day caring for a litter of puppies and the other part filming, photographing, and creating content about them.
