Schedule: Day shift with on-call responsibilities as needed

Position Summary
Langdon Place of Dover is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care. The DON is responsible for overseeing all nursing services, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight of all nursing operations and clinical services
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing leadership including ADONs, nurse managers, and floor staff
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, recruitment, and retention of nursing personnel
- Participate in QA/QAPI initiatives, audits, and performance improvement activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction
- Serve as a clinical and administrative liaison with physicians, families, and regulatory agencies
- Support emergency preparedness and on-call coverage as required
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the State of New Hampshire
- Minimum 3–5 years of nursing leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with survey readiness, staffing management, and quality improvement
