American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cath Lab position at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital in Alaska, requiring at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience and active AK RN licensure.

Located in an acute care hospital that is a Magnet-designated facility, Level II Trauma Center, and USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska

407 total staffed beds
-
Cath Lab unit with potential floating to EP or IR within scope
-
4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
-
On-call required 1 day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 6:00 PM – Monday 7:30 AM)

Approximately 1 Saturday per month as part of the regular 4-shift weekly schedule

Charting via Epic (experience required)

Scrubs are provided by the facility

Free parking on-site

Active Alaska (AK) RN license required; pending AK license accepted for consideration, but license must be in hand prior to offer

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility

May float between facilities within the state of Alaska as needed; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Former permanent employees of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler

A minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting are required for consideration

Full SSN and DOB are required for consideration

Only 1 time-off request will be considered per 13-week assignment; RTO is approved on an individual basis upon offer
