Palo Popcorn is hiring to meet the growing demand for our popcorn items and we are seeking 2nd shift (3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.) Production Associates to join our team to assist in our popping, coating, and packaging areas. As a Production Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products while contributing to the efficient operation of our facility. Duties:
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to CGMP and HACCP standards, to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and company policies.
- Popping, coating, and packaging popcorn. Training will be provided.
- Monitor food safety and quality control processes to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with production staff to ensure timely and accurate production of food products, while adhering to production schedules and quality control procedures.
- Maintain records of production, quality control, and maintenance activities to support compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge of food processing and production best practices.
Qualifications:
- Age 18+ for equipment operation
- Ability to read/write to complete documentation requirements
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in varying environments between 60-95 degrees
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing production schedules and procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
