- Cultivate strong relationships with clients through effective communication, personalized service, and proactive upselling of additional services or menu options.
- Coordinate with culinary teams, event staff, and vendors to ensure seamless delivery of catering services that exceed guest expectations.
- Utilize event management software and CRM systems to track client interactions, manage bookings, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing catering team by providing clear direction, training in customer service excellence, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Oversee contract negotiations with clients and vendors to secure favorable terms while maintaining compliance with organizational policies.
- Implement innovative marketing initiatives to promote catering services through targeted campaigns, social media outreach, and community engagement efforts.

Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality or events management with a focus on catering operations; banquet experience is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with the ability to upsell effectively to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging clients, negotiating contracts, and leading teams confidently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), event management software, CRM systems, and other relevant technology tools.
- Demonstrated success managing event budgets while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
