JM Industrial is looking for Sourcing Service Representatives!
A sourcing service rep (SSR) is what we call our team members who deal not only with customers but also with our suppliers. An SSR is expected to be able to handle all elements of a sales order and purchase order process, from a quote request all the way through creating an invoice.
Primary duties would be processing quote requests and sales orders from major customers, as well as placing purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers. Position duties will include
- data entry into ERP software including building items, suppliers and vendor information
- contacting suppliers for pricing and logistics for sourcing products
- learning relevant customer portals for different communication types
- supporting costumers by responding to order and part inquiries
- corresponding with suppliers to verify orders are being shipped on time
- compliance data gathering and reporting
- warehouse
- Hybrid mostly work from home with few days per month in warehouse in Pekin, IL
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Logistics: 1 year (Preferred)
- Microsoft Office: 3 years (Required)
