Father John V. Doyle School is a dedicated educational institution committed to fostering academic excellence and personal growth in a supportive environment. We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Substitute Teachers to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year.
As a Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering quality instruction and maintaining a positive classroom environment in the absence of regular teaching staff. This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage students across various grade levels.
- Follow lesson plans and deliver instruction as provided by the regular teacher.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Adapt to different classroom settings and grade levels as needed.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration.
- Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate school personnel.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying ages and abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing classroom environments.
