Great Divide Brewery and Roadhouse is a casual upscale concept created by VIBE Concepts. Based in Denver, CO we have been in business for over 20 years serving the greater Denver area and the Colorado mountain towns and resorts. We are currently seeking a talented and energetic Sous Chef to join our team.
Responsibilities and Duties
You must be able to perform effectively in each of these areas:
- Training, supervising, and working side by side with your team
- Scheduling culinary staff and assigning duties to all employees under supervision for efficient operation of kitchen
- Ensuring quality and consistency are at the highest level while maximizing the operation's personnel and resources
- Instilling strong safety and sanitation habits in all associates
Qualifications and Skills
What we're looking for:
- Creative and innovative culinary skills
- Thorough knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Understanding of food and labor cost controls
- Proven leadership skills to achieve goals while maintaining a high standard in regards to quality and presentation
- Proven ability to build/sustain a team spirit and high morale
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a culinary management position within an upscale food and beverage operation
