Allied Physical Therapy Wellness Community is a private outpatient physical therapy practice specializing in spine rehabilitation, TMJ dysfunction, pelvic floor therapy, orthopedic injuries, and manual therapy. Position Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality treatment to patients with orthopedic, spine, TMJ, pelvic floor, and/or musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient setting. We are open to hiring new graduates and providing additional training and support.
Primary Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist

Assist patients with therapeutic exercise, stretching, balance training, neuromuscular re-education, and functional activities

Support treatment of spine, orthopedic, TMJ, and/or pelvic floor patients

Provide patient education regarding exercises, posture, body mechanics, and home exercise programs

Document treatments and patient responses accurately and timely

Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist

Maintain clinic cleanliness, equipment readiness, and treatment flow

Support positive patient experiences and strong customer service that reflects Allied Physical Therapy Wellness Community’s patient-centered values

Assist with front office communication and scheduling as needed

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Current Florida PTA license
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work efficiently in a busy outpatient environment

Experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred, but not required

Manual therapy, pelvic floor, TMJ, and/or specialty rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
