Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community located at Life Skills in Kirkwood, MO.
- Will have a strong background working with disabled adults and elderly residents and possess in-depth knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and HUD (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) regulations. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure compliance, maintain high occupancy rates, and provide exceptional service to our residents.
- Manage all aspects of property operations including leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and resident relations.
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC and HUD program requirements and regulations.
- Provide support and assistance tailored to the needs of disabled adults and elderly residents.
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and overall property standards.
- Prepare and manage property budgets, financial reports, and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and external vendors to address repair and maintenance issues promptly.
- Handle resident concerns and resolve conflicts in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain occupancy by marketing available units and processing applications in accordance with program guidelines.
- Ensure all leasing documentation and resident files are complete and up to date.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing residential properties, preferably with disabled adults and elderly populations.
- Strong knowledge of LIHTC and HUD regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in property management, business, or related field preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Compensation* $20-23
- Final agreed-upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
