We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our Kansas City team. The Leasing Agent is responsible for assisting prospective residents through the leasing process, maintaining positive resident relationships, and helping achieve occupancy goals for the property.
The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, sales ability, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist prospective residents in person, by phone, and online
- Conduct property tours and highlight apartment/community features
- Respond to leasing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Process rental applications, lease agreements, and related paperwork
- Maintain accurate resident and prospect records
- Follow up with prospects to convert leads into signed leases
- Coordinate move-ins and provide excellent resident onboarding
- Assist with lease renewals and resident retention efforts
- Handle resident questions and concerns professionally
- Maintain knowledge of pricing, availability, and community policies
- Support marketing and outreach efforts to increase occupancy
- Ensure model units and common areas are clean and presentable
Qualifications
- Previous leasing, sales, customer service, or property management experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with leasing/property management software preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Weekend availability may be required

- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
- Bilingual skills are a plus
