We are looking to hire a caring and enthusiastic staff member to assist children during their daily routine, as well as cleaning and closing of the child care center.
Applicant would work shifts that align with assigned students schedule, as well as on-call as needed. Typically 4 to 6 hr shifts (typically 2-6pm)
You would be responsible for One-on-One care of an individual students when in attendance. Other shifts may include prepping meals, covering classrooms, giving teacher breaks, caring and responsive playground supervision, greeting children and families as they leave, doing dishes, cleaning classrooms, and following closing lists.
Probationary pay is $18/hr until all minimum licensing requirements are met (typically within first 90 days) then raise to $19/hr plus $0.50 hr Early Acheiver Bonus
Job Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older, with appropriate personality for working with children
- Completed High School education or equivalent
- Ability to pass Washington State DEL Background Check
- Negative TB test prior to the first day of working with children
- Documented and current First Aid / CPR (Adult, child, infant)
- BBP / HIV / AIDS training
- 30 Hours S.T.A.R.S Child Care Basics Training
- 10 Hours Continuing Education Annually
- Current Food Handlers Card
-Early Childhood CDA or college-level coursework strongly preferred
