Responsibilities
- Provide expert hair styling services including cuts, color treatments, blowouts, and special occasion styles.
- Apply hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and perform hair threading to enhance client aesthetics.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by adhering to sanitation protocols and ensuring all tools are properly sterilized.
- Engage with clients through excellent communication skills, understanding their needs and recommending suitable treatments or products.
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and upselling retail products to maximize store sales.
- Mentor junior stylists and team members to foster a collaborative and skilled work environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as a professional cosmetologist or barber with a strong portfolio of hair styling work.
- Knowledge of hair coloring techniques, including the use of various color theories for customized results.
- Hands-on experience with hair extensions application, eyelash extensions, and nail care is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices within a salon environment to ensure client safety and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their beauty goals.
- Previous experience in retail sales or upselling techniques that enhance client satisfaction while meeting sales targets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and delivering exceptional service.
