Title: Speech Language Pathologist

This position is a speech-language pathologist position beginning Fall 2026. The SLP will serve a mild-mod student population ages TK-5th grade. Clinical fellows are encouraged to apply and will be provided high quality mentorship.

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for planning, organizing, and providing diagnostic services and therapy for students with speech and language disabilities. You will help develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to better help your students. The Speech Language Pathologist provides an exciting opportunity to positively impact communication capabilities and the overall well-being of our students.
Position Description
- Perform diagnostic assessments in determining speech and language performance levels.
- Demonstrate and teach language and speech development processes to students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that address short- and long-term student goals.
- Maintain communication with parents and staff by reporting progress of students.
- Maintain and submit accurate and timely documentation as required.
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and Individualized Education Programs (IEP) meetings to contribute to the overall educational plans for the students.
- Manage assigned caseload including scheduling, writing, and holding timely IEP’s.
- Aid in the development of academic, social, and other educational skills areas.
- Generate detailed progress reports to inform parents, teachers, and administrators of achievements and areas of improvement for students.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal policies.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- CA SLP License or SLP services credentials.
- Knowledge of evidenced based speech-language pathology practices.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to multi-task, as well as work efficiently and effectively within required deadlines.
- Excellent documentation abilities
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in a school-based setting highly preferred.
- Ability to successfully pass background check.
