Implement local, state, and national student assessment programs for the district to generate timely, quality, and actionable data. Ensure security and integrity of testing materials, processes, and data in accordance with local, state, and national requirements through learning, coaching, and monitoring. Provide correct access to assessment information for internal and external stakeholders as required.
Education/Certification:
Master’s Degree
Valid Teacher Certification
Valid Educational Administrator Certification
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of the state testing program, state accountability system, and exams for acceleration
Ability to problem-solve as district and campus needs arise
Ability to perform detailed tasks that require precision
Ability to use personal computer and software programs to implement assessment programs
Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners both in person and virtually
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
Five years of classroom experience
Three years of experience running local, state, or national assessments in education
Three years of campus or district administration experience in education preferred
- Implement procedures for ensuring security and confidentiality of state-mandated testing programs and other assessments. Direct and oversee test implementation and monitor testing activities to ensure that procedures are followed and deadlines met.
- Provide timely support for testing administrators and campus testing coordinators.
- Consult with staff to provide appropriate testing accommodations for Limited English Proficient (LEP) students and students receiving special services.
- Identify, investigate, and address testing irregularities. Report discrepancies and disciplinary actions taken against students as required.
- Develop and distribute reports and data visualizations as required.
- Work with instructional teams to analyze test data and develop student achievement goals and objectives.
- Consult with district staff to develop, administer, and interpret assessment guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain and ensure integrity of testing data. Ensure all materials and data are submitted within established timelines.
- Complete evaluation and compliance reports as required by local, state, and federal programs.
- Order, track, and monitor the location of test materials and assessment technology throughout the distribution, return, and storage process.
- Compile, maintain, file, and secure all reports, records, and other required documents.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of training for district and campus test administrators to ensure that tests are conducted and procedures are consistently followed.
- Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Monitor the work of campus test administrators and others assigned to conduct tests.
