Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, and vacuuming carpets to uphold high cleanliness standards
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens to ensure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay
- Perform floor care tasks like mopping and polishing to maintain a spotless environment in all areas of the room
- Handle trash removal and linen changes efficiently while adhering to safety and hygiene protocols
- Conduct routine inspections of rooms to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly
- Follow established cleaning procedures using appropriate tools and cleaning supplies to ensure consistency and quality
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and special requests to exceed guest expectations and enhance overall satisfaction
Qualifications
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial services is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning equipment
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout shifts
- Familiarity with hospitality industry practices and guest service principles is a plus
- A positive attitude with excellent communication skills to interact courteously with guests and team members
