Overview
The Floor Ambassador will maintain an extensive floor presence while acting as the point of contact providing high level hospitality and customer services to our client, client guests and vendors, greeting customers and visitors with a high degree or professionalism and courtesy. They also provide an integrated VIP experience—providing a unique mix of guest services, office services and an elevated workplace experience—focused on driving results.
Responsibilities
- Own the floor—everything should be working well – if not, report to appropriate operations teams (facilities, maintenance, security, IT, etc.), and follow up to see that it is addressed.
- Ensure legal and business professionals have appropriate space, connectivity, and supplies to do their work.
- Ensure all systems are working effectively (printer network, cooling and heating, lights etc.)
- Manage all service requests (imaging, car service, mailing, printing, etc.) with closed loop approach.
- Ensure all visitors are greeted and provided with office services information and key general office information (where to print, office map, etc.).
- Anticipate needs and proactively seek opportunities to elevate the end-user experience.
Core Functionality:
- Utilize Canon devices, office center tools, workstations, and applications to complete service requests.
- Operate the advanced features of the print properties menu for Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Word (hole punching, collating documents, etc.).
- Complete jobs to individual preference and ensure individual preferences are shared and updated regularly for continuity.
- Answer E-mails and phone calls with the proper professionalism and etiquette that represents CBPS appropriately and encourages future interactions.
- Operate PS Ship in Outlook, to create domestic and foreign Fed Ex labels as well as create hyperlinks for sharing tracking numbers, pertinent info, etc.
- Create white labels for shipping and creating envelopes of various sizes with both sender and return addresses placed properly.
- Exercise time management, answering emails promptly and completing tasks within an appropriate time based on the workload.
- Bind documents in all the methods used at the office service center (Floor Ambassadors should have knowledge of how to bind, laminate or cut with the various methods for all requests).
- Manage the supply demand for your assigned floor: what are the major supplies used on the floor? How often are restocks needed? What specialty supplies are needed, and who needs them?
- Solve minor issues with hardware (paper jams and cleaning).
- Appropriately input all requests/task completions in accountability software
Events and Special Projects:
- ·Provide operational expertise and consultation – best practices to prepare for the event, where to route requests during the event, supplies needed, etc.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- 0-1+ years’ experience working in a mailroom and/or professional office environment.
- Prior hospitality experience (managing office inventory, conference room set up, event assistance, etc.)
- Ability to provide a high level of exceptional customer serve to our clients and customers
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of initiative to fulfill business needs up to expectation
- Print, copy and binding experience is a plus
- Thorough knowledge of all metering, weighting, logging, and other shipping procedure
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office, etc.)
- Ability to perform complex functions of various equipment and systems (fax, scanner, metering, stamping, tracking systems), excellent customer service, professional attitude and appearance are a must.
Pay: $22.33 per hour
