Job Description
Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring materials and supplies are properly received, tracked, and distributed. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, and material handling in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts for warehouse settings
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and shipments
- Pull, stage, and distribute materials as needed
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Utilize ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and transportation management systems (TMS) to track inventory movements and optimize supply chain workflows
- Assist with shipping, receiving, labeling, and packaging
- Perform data entry and update inventory tracking systems
- Conduct physical inventory audits and maintain organized warehouse areas
- Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance preferred
