- Assist in pre-operative and post-operative care for cardiothoracic surgery patients

Perform patient assessments and evaluations

Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement care plans

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary

Educate patients and their families about procedures and recovery

Participate in patient rounds and contribute to surgical discussions

Document patient care accurately in medical records
- Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies

Current licensure as an NP or PA in the state of practice

Experience in cardiothoracic surgery preferred

Strong clinical assessment skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, specific dates
Will assist with complex cardiovascular surgeries
Team Structure: 1 surgeon, 1 APPs
EMR: eCW
Endovascular Vein Harvesting certification required
Board certification required
