Prodigy Imaging, is a local Ultrasound Contracting Company dedicated to providing high-quality patient care through advanced imaging technologies. We are seeking a motivated Ultrasound tech to join our team.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations ON CALL a few times per month, ON Call- one (1) weekend per month, along with providing imaging services at outpatient clinics, doctor offices, and ER facilities. Ensuring patient comfort, and collaborating with physicians to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations and produce accurate images for diagnostic purposes.
- Interpret and analyze ultrasound results, providing preliminary reports to physicians.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings and patient care.
- Educate patients about ultrasound procedures and answer any questions they may have.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
-Fill in at a number of different facilities, willing to travel to surrounding towns a few times per month, if needed.
-ON CALL- low volume facility required a few times per week, also one (1) weekend per month is needed on call Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
-Willing to travel up to 60 miles, a few times per month, if needed

Qualifications:
2 years of medical imaging experience (Preferred). Willing to train the right candidate, recent graduate or student in last semester of graduating. Registry Eligible. More info at time of interview.
Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or in the process of completing.
Requirements:
Proficient in general imaging, able to work independently, easy going, excellent communication skills, excellent patient care, works well with others, dependable, driven and is a team player.
Pay: $28-$40+ per hour DOE
Job: Full time, Part Time, PRN
Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
