Overview
This is a Monday through Friday, home every night position. We service WV, VA, KY, MD, PA and OH. Trucks are all newer models and kept in good shape by our in house mechanics.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and various truck types such as flatbed, and hotshots.
- Truck is loaded for the driver. Strap and go.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checks on manual transmission systems and specialized equipment.
- Deliver freight accurately and on schedule, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies while maintaining a professional driving record.
- Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal paths to meet delivery deadlines while minimizing fuel consumption.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route management.
- Familiarity with operating various truck types such as rigs, flatbeds, and hotshots.
- Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or manual methods; previous forklift certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight transportation.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and customers effectively.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
