NorthStar Moving Company — recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work” for 10 consecutive years — is looking for motivated, reliable, and hardworking team members to join our new Irvine/Newport location as Movers and/or Drivers.
Positions Available
- Movers / Packers
- Drivers (Class C license acceptable)
What you will do
- Move, pack, and handle furniture and household items with care
- Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary
- Prepare moving supplies and equipment for each job, including securing items for transit to prevent damage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks and moving supplies before and after each job
- Follow all safety procedures related to heavy lifting, manual transmission driving, forklift operation, and route driving
- Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude
- Work as part of a team to make each client’s moving day smooth and stress-free
Requirements
- Must be physically capable of safely lifting and moving furniture and boxes throughout the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Positive attitude, punctuality, professionalism, and strong work ethic required
- Ability to work well with customers and as part of a team
- Prior moving experience preferred (required for experienced mover positions)
- Driver applicants must have a valid driver’s license, at least 3 years of driving experience, and an acceptable driving record
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions
- Weekend availability preferred
