Position Status: Part-Time
Position Summary: Will be responsible for building, cultivating, and managing relationships with new and existing church partners and community partners in assigned state.
Primary Duties:
- To be a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ to co-workers, clients and ministry partners
- Actively leads the team in a manner aligned with scripture including, but not limited to, praying for and with them, sharing scripture in daily activities and leadership, modeling the character of Jesus Christ in interactions with team and any external clients, partners, vendors, etc.
- Disciples’ employees for the benefit of our ministry partners and clients.
- Aligns team dynamics, internal & external processes, and final product of team’s work with Biblical principles and with Lifeline’s Core Values
- Maintaining good relationships with co-workers, including solving all disputes in a Biblically prescribed fashion.
- Representing the Agency in a professional manner in and away from the office
- Encourages and supports church engagement efforts, including live presence opportunities, adoption information meetings, and biblical teaching on caring for vulnerable children.
- When qualified by the state and as organizational needs require, may conduct home studies, post placement or post adoption reports, and other related adoption services for families within the assigned geographic area or across programs.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
- Support organizational events and outreach as needed.
- Contribute to a positive team culture rooted in compassion, respect, and excellence.

CHURCH PARTNERSHIPS
- Works to build new church and ministry partners and support current church partners
- Pursues opportunities to speak and preach in churches about Lifeline’s mission, equipping the church to bring Gospel Hope to vulnerable children
- Leads church partnership meetings for state team
- Disciples state team in church partnerships in conjunction with state director
- Works toward building and contributing to a strong ministry presence in and around assigned region through advocating for growth in all domestic and international program areas
- Makes regular contact with engaged churches to assess ongoing needs and opportunities for supportive services
- Collaborates with state director regarding needs/opportunities within the ministry and meeting region specific goals in connection with local churches
- Help organize local events at churches and Lifeline Children’s Services
DEVELOPMENT/FUNDRAISING
- Builds upon existing and historical relationships while highlighting Lifeline Children’s Services in comparison to local attorneys and other adoption agencies.
- Partners with the State Advisory Board on all aspects of the state programs and fundraising.
- Develops a program of public relations, including interpretation to the community.
- Assists in marketing initiatives in and around assigned state to promote the Lifeline ministry, both from a development and awareness side.
- Encourages financial support of the ministry through all avenues including individuals, foundations, grants, churches.
- Plans and executes fundraising events in your geographic areas.
- Creates strategic plan to meet state fundraising goals though partnering with Lifeline’s Central Office Development team.
- Pursues relationships with electronic and print media, and encourages favorable coverage of adoption issues and ministry profiles.
Other Duties:
- Encourages and supports church engagement efforts, including live presence opportunities, adoption information meetings, and biblical teaching on caring for vulnerable children.
- Assisting in agency-related events, including the annual staff retreat, the annual dinner, anniversary celebrations, across all Lifeline programs

All roles at Lifeline are designed to function as a flexible, team-based position. While primary responsibilities are outlined, employees may be asked to support additional programs, service areas, or initiatives based on organizational needs, workload/caseload demands, and supervisor direction.
Any additional duties will be consistent with the employee’s training, licensure, role classification, and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) status and will not fundamentally change the nature of the position.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field, required
Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in related work, required
Work Environment:
- Professional Office location unless outside the guidelines of the Remote Worker Policy
- Frequent travel to surrounding counties may be required and around the assigned region on occasion
