A Machine Operator will have experience operating and maintaining machinery, a strong understanding of production processes, and a commitment to safety and quality. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines to ensure efficient and accurate production of products.
Set up and operate machines according to specifications and instructions.
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Identify and report any defects or issues with the machinery or products.
Perform daily routine quality checks.
Report any machine malfunctions and issues to the supervisor.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machines.
Ensure that all safety devices and guards are in place and functioning correctly.
Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to a workplace safety culture.
Maintain accurate records of production quantities.
Communicate any production issues or concerns to supervisors and management.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety instructions.
Assist in training new machine operators.
Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Assist with bi-annual plant inventories.
Keep equipment clean and maintained.
Perform other duties as assigned.
