Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items following established recipes and safety standards to deliver quality meals consistently.
- Operate Toast POS system for processing customer orders, sales transactions, and cash handling with accuracy.
- Manage food service customer orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and excellent service.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by adhering to sanitation protocols and food safety guidelines throughout your shift.
- Assist customers with their inquiries, upselling menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including fryers, grills, ovens, and other food preparation tools.
- Process cash transactions accurately while managing retail sales transactions with professionalism.
- Support team members in maintaining a welcoming environment by practicing excellent customer service and teamwork.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards is advantageous.
- Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cash register operations and transaction processing are essential.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety management ensures compliance with health regulations.
- Prior retail sales or café experience can be beneficial but is not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

- This position requires you hold an Allergen Certificate. If you do not have one- the cost is $25. Are you able to obtain this prior to hire?
