DATA is seeking compassionate School-Based Counselors to support students’ behavioral health, personal development, and academic success.
Open Positions
- Prevention Counselor: Bachelor’s degree required; starting salary of $37,500.
- Intervention Counselor: Master’s degree required; starting salary of $41,250.
Responsibilities
- Provide prevention education, counseling, and student-support services.
- Conduct screenings and develop individualized service plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family services, as appropriate.
- Respond to crises using intervention and de-escalation techniques.
- Collaborate with families, school personnel, and community providers.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation.
Requirements
- Prevention: Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, education, or a related field.
- Intervention: Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- Experience working with youth is preferred.
- Must pass Level II and School District background screenings and a pre-employment drug screening.
- Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
