Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to help them find the right products based on their needs and preferences
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations to educate customers about different strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories
- Manage retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell complementary products and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure the store is clean, organized, and inviting
- Assist with inventory management by stocking new products, conducting stock counts, and reporting low inventory levels
- Deliver excellent customer service by answering questions via phone or in person with professionalism and clear communication skills
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is highly desirable
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership roles within retail settings preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and customer engagement
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve our diverse customer base effectively
- Experience conducting product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies beneficial
- Knowledge of cannabis or related products is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
