About the Role
Michael Andrews Associates LLC is a consumer debt forwarding company managing a high-volume legal collections pipeline across a national attorney network. We are hiring a Product Owner to own our core case management platform (Cogent by AgreeYa) and its surrounding integration and automation ecosystem including Podio workflow automation, ShareFile document exchange, and a Fivetran CDC pipeline into our analytics environment.
This role sits at the intersection of business operations and technology delivery. You will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders (legal ops, collections, compliance) and the technical team, translating operational needs into platform configurations, automation logic, integration workflows, and release-ready requirements.
The Automation Mandate
A central focus of this role is consolidating automation logic into Cogent wherever feasible. Today, business logic is split between Podio and Cogent both platforms support rule-based automations, and over time logic has accumulated in Podio that more appropriately belongs inside the CMS itself. You will:
Audit and inventory every automation across Podio and Cogent
Evaluate each for migration feasibility into Cogent's native automation layer
Partner with operations to redesign workflows so that Cogent becomes the system of record for case-driven logic
Reduce platform sprawl, brittle cross-system dependencies, and downstream data reconciliation pain
Core Responsibilities
Own the product roadmap and backlog for the Cogent CMS platform, prioritizing features, configurations, and integrations aligned to business value
Manage and optimize integrations between Cogent and surrounding systems:
Podio: workflow automation and operational data synchronization back to Cogent
ShareFile: law firm document exchange and intake workflows
Fivetran CDC: coordinate with data engineering on schema changes, sync schedules, and pipeline health
Lead the Podio-to-Cogent automation migration initiative
Define and document acceptance criteria for system changes; partner with QA and the data team on validation
Drive incident response and root-cause analysis for platform issues; maintain system health standards
Coordinate vendor relationships with AgreeYa (Cogent), Podio, and ShareFile
Maintain data migration awareness our environment spans a legacy ADS platform and a post-migration Cogent environment; you will support ongoing reconciliation and unification
Work closely with the analytics team to ensure schema changes, field additions, and new integrations are reflected downstream
Support FDCPA compliance requirements in all platform and integration decisions
Work daily alongside the operations team boots on the ground to triage, collaborate, and design workflow improvements
