Key Responsibilities for the Buyer – Manufacturing:
- Manage purchase orders, requisitions, and supplier relationships
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery timelines
- Support MRP, forecasting, and inventory planning processes
- Track supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
- Partner with operations and production to meet material needs
- Resolve supply chain issues, delays, and shortages
Qualifications for the Buyer – Manufacturing:
- 3–5+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with MRP/ERP systems
- Ability to read BOMs, prints, and product structures
- Strong negotiation and supplier management background
