RESPONSIBLIITES
Purchasing:
- Provide support to Purchasing and Logistics Manager
- Analyze Inventory Needs and Process Weekly Stock PO’s
- Review Backorders for Purchasing Needs
- Process Drop Ship, Custom and Airfreight Orders – Daily
- Sourcing Out-of-Stocks by Product Line – Other Distributors
- Reporting Related to Purchasing
- Past Due / Open PO
- Backorders
- Review Acknowledgements for Accuracy
- Update PO Line Items with ETAs
- Process Parts Orders
- Communicate Out-of-Stocks and updated dates to Customer Service
Inventory:
- Research and Process Inventory Adjustments
- New Item Set Ups and Mass Imports
- Assist with Physical Inventory Reconciliations
- Assist in Preparing Order Point Quantity Reviews
- Assist in Preparing POs for Import
- Assist AP with Invoicing Issues Related to Receiving
- Monitor and Reconcile Trunk Stock Inventory
Other:
- Assist in Monitoring Purchasing Inbox
- Operations Team Projects, as Necessary
- Import Freight Tracking
QUALIFICATIONS
- College undergraduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years experience in a similar position
- Background in ERP Systems and purchasing technology / software.
- Familiarity with purchasing/supply standardized methods and inventory control systems.
- Strong background with MS Excel, and Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Good Analytical and critical thinking / problem-solving skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to interact with customers, vendors and employees in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
