- Operate POS systems such as Toast for retail sales transactions, cash handling, and order processing
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and maximize customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to sanitation protocols throughout your shift
- Manage food handling responsibilities with attention to safety regulations and proper storage procedures
- Support kitchen operations by assisting with basic food preparation tasks and ensuring timely service delivery
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast food restaurants is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems like Toast is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with cashiering, bussing, or serving in a café or grocery store setting is advantageous
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift moderate weights, and work flexible hours as needed
