We are seeking a Class A OTR CDL With Hazmat Experienced Tanker to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). This position does require some overnights during the week but home on the weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport hazardous materials in a tanker truck, adhering to regulations, and maintaining vehicle safety
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintainability.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, while being flexible to accommodate unexpected changes.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including hazardous material specifications and handling procedures.
Qualifications:
- Hazmat Endorsement: This endorsement allows you to transport hazardous materials, and you'll need to pass a written exam and potentially a practical exam
- Tanker Endorsement: This endorsement is necessary for transporting liquids or gases in bulk
- 2 Years experience in truck driving with a clean driving record
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic
