Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional patient care across various healthcare settings. Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner.
- Support patient care plans by administering medications under supervision and assisting with medical procedures such as catheter care or phlebotomy when qualified.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
- Document patient information comprehensively in medical records while respecting HIPAA regulations and ensuring confidentiality.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care environments such as ICU, emergency medicine, or trauma centers to deliver timely and effective care.
- Provide specialized support for individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or behavioral health needs within memory or hospice care settings.
- Operate medical equipment safely and efficiently, including Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices to promote patient safety and comfort.
Skills
- Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms for medical documentation.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to support accurate patient assessments and care delivery.
- Experience with medication administration, catheter care, and basic life support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages—including pediatrics—and those with disabilities or complex medical conditions such as traumatic injuries or infectious diseases.
- Excellent communication skills to interact empathetically with patients and collaborate seamlessly with healthcare teams.
- Demonstrated competence in handling specialized procedures like ICU or Level I trauma center protocols when applicable.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.90 per hour
