Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation and safety of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. This role is vital in maintaining high standards of mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee daily maintenance activities, coordinate projects, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and industrial systems to ensure seamless operations.
- Lead a team of technicians and maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster growth and accountability.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, schedules, and asset history.
- Oversee troubleshooting and repair of complex equipment utilizing schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or equipment installation, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations for high voltage and low voltage systems; conduct safety audits and promote best practices in facilities management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, inventory levels, and work orders; utilize tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing.
Skills
- Proven management experience in industrial or manufacturing environments with strong leadership capabilities.
- Extensive knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage applications.
- Proficiency with CMMS software for maintenance management; ability to analyze data for continuous improvement.
- Mechanical expertise in troubleshooting industrial machinery; familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of facilities management principles including safety protocols for electrical work.
- Excellent communication skills in English; ability to clearly instruct teams and document procedures effectively.
- Experience supervising maintenance projects from planning through execution; familiarity with project management methodologies.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing; capable of reading technical schematics accurately.
