We are seeking Diesel Mechanics of varying experience to join our growing team at our Columbus, OH terminal.

Qualifications:
- Qualified candidates must have a solid work history, valid driver's license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old. Must have high school diploma or GED or be actively pursuing a high school diploma or GED.
- Employment contingent on passing a pre-employment physical and drug screens to include both urine and hair follicle testing (Marijuana is a disqualification of employment due to safety-sensitive functions of the position).

Education and Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in trailer repair, heavy truck maintenance, or welding/fabrication preferred.
Main Job Responsibilities:
- · Preventative Maintenance: Perform comprehensive Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and DOT inspections. Check tire tread, adjust pressure, and grease
- Brake & Pneumatic Systems: Diagnose and repair air brake systems, ABS modules, brake drums, shoes, and chambers.
- Electrical Troubleshooting: Trace, patch, and replace lighting systems, 7-way electrical receptacles, and complex wiring harnesses.
- Structural Bodywork: Repair exterior aluminum panels, metal roofs, nose sections, and top/bottom rails.
- Welding & Fabrication: Use steel and aluminum welding equipment, torches, and grinders to fix cracks or rebuild damaged frame assemblies.
- Documentation: Log all labor hours and parts using digital fleet maintenance software.
