Duties
- Measure and assess property to determine the appropriate gutter system specifications using blueprint reading and schematics.
- Install gutters, downspouts, and related components utilizing hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on existing gutter systems, including caulking, sealing, and trimming for optimal performance.
- Safely lift heavy materials and equipment required for installation while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks such as framing, metal stud framing, or masonry as needed for integrated projects.
- Read and interpret schematics or blueprints to ensure precise installation aligned with project plans.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to ensure durability and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or roofing projects with familiarity in construction estimating and site preparation.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment common in construction environments.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to gutter systems or general construction projects.
- Experience with related trades such as carpentry, trim carpentry, stucco, masonry, or remodeling is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols relevant to construction sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in measuring and installing components accurately.
