Social Media Manager (Remote, Part-Time)

Position Overview
We're looking for a creative, organized, and reliable Social Media Manager to help manage social media marketing for both Live Free Digital and our clients.
This position combines content planning, copywriting, light graphic design, community management, and basic analytics. The ideal candidate enjoys storytelling, understands what performs well across different social platforms, and can maintain multiple client brands while staying organized.
While this is primarily a remote position, we're especially interested in candidates who are able to travel approximately once per month to capture photos and video content on-site for clients.
Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and schedule social media content across multiple client accounts
- Write engaging captions tailored to each platform
- Create simple graphics using Canva or similar tools
- Edit short-form videos for Reels, Shorts, and TikTok
- Respond to comments and messages as assigned
- Monitor account performance and recommend improvements
- Assist with monthly content calendars
- Repurpose website, blog, and email content into social media posts
- Coordinate with the Live Free Digital team to ensure marketing campaigns stay aligned across channels
- Occasionally assist with email marketing campaigns and newsletters
Preferred Social Platforms
Experience with one or more of the following platforms is expected, with broader experience considered a significant advantage:
- Instagram
- Facebook
- LinkedIn

- Reddit
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience managing business or organizational social media accounts
- Strong written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Comfortable learning new software and marketing tools
- Portfolio, examples of previous work, or professional references demonstrating social media experience
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with experience in any of the following areas are especially encouraged to apply:

Monthly On-Site Content Days (Preferred)
While this position is primarily remote, it is a significant advantage if you have reliable transportation and are willing to travel approximately once per month to capture photos and video content for clients.
Most content sessions will take place in or around Concord, New Hampshire, with occasional travel elsewhere in the state.
To make this as flexible as possible:
- We will provide at least one week's advance notice whenever possible.
- We'll work with your availability when scheduling content days.
- We'll strive to keep these trips as convenient and predictable as possible.
- Mileage-related travel expenses, including gas and tolls, will be reimbursed.
Applicants who cannot travel are still encouraged to apply, but candidates who are available for occasional content capture will receive additional consideration.

Pay: $6,000.00 - $22,000.00 per year
