CNC Engineering Technician supporting production and engineering operations through process improvement, tooling design, documentation, and CNC manufacturing support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct time studies on production processes
- Design holding fixtures, gauging, and tooling
- Support new tooling trials
- Create documentation for new layouts
- Drive process improvement activities on and off the production floor
- Support CNC-related manufacturing processes
- Process approved card changes
- Process ECO and ECR documentation
- Train co-workers on applicable processes and procedures
- Perform other assigned engineering and production support duties
- Maintain ISO 9001:2008 certification standards
Job Requirements:
- CNC process knowledge
- Experience with tooling, fixtures, and gauging design
- Tool and die experience
- Experience with ECO and ECR processing
- General knowledge of quality systems
- Experience supporting production floor engineering functions
Preferred Skills:
- Experience conducting time studies
- Experience with new tooling trials
- Experience documenting layouts and engineering changes
- Experience maintaining ISO 9001:2008 standards
