Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Production Supervisors to oversee daily manufacturing operations within a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising production teams, ensuring safety standards, maintaining quality control, and optimizing workflow efficiency. This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality products on time while fostering a productive and compliant work environment. The successful candidate will bring strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with assembly lines, and leadership skills to drive continuous improvement.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate activities on the manufacturing floor, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely.
- Oversee assembly line operations, ensuring proper use of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
- Manage warehouse activities including forklift operation, inventory control, and material handling.
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a compliant work environment.
- Train and mentor team members on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure machinery uptime.
- Monitor production metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements for increased productivity.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards by inspecting products and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Maintain accurate production records, report progress to management, and assist in planning schedules.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility supervision with a strong understanding of assembly line processes.
- Hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems, hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment such as forklifts.
- Prior factory experience involving manufacturing operations within a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures including inventory management and material handling.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently; certification is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and enforce safety standards effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping and process documentation.
