Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Assembly Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical components and systems with precision and efficiency. Duties
- Assemble electrical components and systems according to detailed schematics and blueprints, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to guide assembly processes.
- Solder surface mount technology (SMT) components and wire electrical panels using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.
- Build and wire electrical panels, ensuring proper connections using electrical wiring techniques and schematics.
- Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to verify circuit integrity and troubleshoot issues during assembly.
- Conduct inspections following IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies, ensuring compliance with quality requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot electro-mechanical components and resolve assembly or wiring issues efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly, soldering, and electrical wiring.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematic reading, interpretation, and blueprint reading skills.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their integration within assemblies.
- Knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT) assembly processes and techniques.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment.
- Ability to read electrical blueprints accurately and follow detailed schematics for complex assemblies.
- Experience with electro-mechanical components, electrical panel building, and troubleshooting engineering issues.
- Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies is highly desirable.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
