Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer specializing in Retaining Wall projects! Responsibilities
- Assist in the excavation, preparation, and grading of sites for retaining wall installation, ensuring proper foundation setup.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to assist with building forms, placing concrete, and installing building materials.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute project specifications.
- Collaborate with team members on the installation of concrete forming and other hardscape elements integral to retaining wall construction.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during outdoor work environments; maintain a clean and organized job site.
Qualifications
- Prior construction experience with a focus on building construction or outdoor projects is highly preferred.
- Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings is essential for precise execution.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation required for various tasks including concrete finishing.
- Knowledge of safety protocols specific to outdoor construction sites; ability to adhere strictly to safety guidelines at all times.
- Ability to work effectively in outdoor environments across construction projects while maintaining physical stamina and attention to detail.
Night and Day shift. Pay rate $16.00, if work nights $2 dollar more.
Work Schedule Mon.-Sat day, Sun.-Fri night 9–11hour shift.
