Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes such as the NEC (National Electrical Code)
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise installation and maintenance of electrical systems
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical tasks on construction sites or renovation projects
- Test electrical circuits using tools like ohmmeters to diagnose issues related to low voltage and high voltage systems
- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks in industrial settings
- Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure timely completion of electrical components within project timelines
- Follow all safety protocols related to low voltage, high voltage, and general electrical work to maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of NEC standards
- Hands-on experience reading schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment
- Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems; experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable
- Prior construction site experience with renovation projects is preferred
- Ability to perform frame carpentry tasks or handyman duties as needed during installations or repairs
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations
